Automatically advancing lyric slides

Good afternoon all, I pray that God is doing wonderful things for each of you and your church community.

This question may have been asked many times over, but I haven't really found a clear answer to this.

My attempt is to "auto scroll/advance" lyrics slides that have been built in songs. I understand how to go into the inspector and set the slides to automatically advance and to set a time for each slide. I've successfully built several songs that once you start them, they lyric slides will advance on their own. My curiosity is, is there a simpler way of doing this than what I'm doing? Specifically, testing if I've gotten the timing just right. For example, say that I need to advance from slide 3 to 4 after roughly 9 seconds. I set that in the inspector, but to test if 9 seconds is sufficient, i have to save and close the inspector, go to the schedule, then start the song that I'm working on, then wait till that part of the song to play through to see if it advances at the right time. I may see that I need to retard/speed up by .25 or .5 seconds, so I go back into inspector of that slide, change the value, save and close out, and have to go back to the schedule, start the song again, and then wait until we get to that part of the song to see if it's better or worse, and then repeat the same thing for the remaining slides. On average, this process is taking me about an hour and a half or more, per song, to get everything dialed in this way. If there is a 4 or 5 minute song and you get to fine tuning those last few slides, really can take a long time as you have to let the song play through at regular speed to get to the part where I'm adjusting the slide advancements.

Maybe I'm missing a feature or something to stream line this a bit. What would be wonderful, would be some sort of preview window, maybe in the inspector, that utilized all of the settings that you've put in thus far and could drag a slider to the area that you're working on and play it at speed from that point to see how that slide advancement/transition acts with the embedded music.

Granted, I'm trying to "count it all a joy" and hallelujah, it's pretty much strengthened my prayer game when it comes to praying for patience, but at this rate, I'm just about repeated a "Chris Tomlin" (insert whatever artist you would like here) song about as many times as I can stand.

Any insight, recommendation, or encouragement would be greatly appreciated. Love you all and hope you have a blessed day.

*Note- Our little <100 member country church is still utilizing EW6 just trying to keep costs down as much as possible. If a feature or technique is available in EW7 (or will be available in 8, congratulations EasyWorship on your furtherance) then that would be great to know and can request an investment in upgrade to a newer model.
