We currently use a laptop with a small screen. We are looking at adding a monitor. Would there be any advantage to using a touch-screen?

That is a feature related to the operating system. Since Windows 10 and 11 both support Touchscreens, then EW would be able to use them.

As for any advantage to using a touch screen, I don't see any. It's much easier to use and control EW via a Keyboard and Mouse.
