EHV Bible Translation

Greetings!

I'd like to request that you add the EHV (English Heritage Version) as one of the available translations. It's published by Northwestern Publishing House, the publishing house for the WELS (Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod).  Though I'm not WELS, I've been using this translation due to its faithfulness to the original text while still being easier to read than ESV (and certainly KJV).

Thanks!

Publisher contact information is required to begin the approval process. Please send any information you have regarding this bible’s publisher to support@easyworship.com. Bible request submissions must include:

Publisher Website:

Official Name: Evangelical Heritage Version

Official Abbreviation: EHV

Publisher Name: Northwestern Publishing House

Publisher Website: Northwestern Publishing House - Christian Books, Bible Study Resources and Church Supplies (nph.net)

Thank you! I will pass this information along.

Has there been any progress to this request?  I would also love to have the EHV translation available for use in EasyWorship.  We are thinking of switching to this translation in our church and replacing our old NIV bibles, and having this translation in EW would go a long way to accomplishing it.  Thanks!

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your suggestion about expanding the Bible options available in EasyWorship.

Right now, our development team is fully focused on an upcoming release of a brand-new version of EasyWorship. This is a significant project that will bring meaningful improvements to performance, features, and long-term stability—updates we know many of our users are excited about. Because of this, we’re not currently able to dedicate resources to adding additional Bible translations.

That said, we absolutely understand how important access to Scripture is, and it continues to be part of our ongoing conversations and future planning. We carefully track and review all requests, and decisions around adding new Bibles are based on interest and demand. Your input has been noted and added to our documentation, and we truly appreciate you taking the time to share it with us.
