Just purchased and installed program and cannot start program - following fault

"the program cant start because api-ms-win-crt-string-l1-1-0.dll is missing from your computer"

have reinstalled many times and fault still prevails

any ideas

That is a windows file that seems to be missing or corrupted on your computer. The first thing I would recommend is running windows updates and make sure they are all installed. That may repair or replace that windows file.
