Exception EEncodingError In Module EasyWorship.exe At ######## No Mapping For The Unicode Character Exists In The Target Multi-byte Code Page

Error Description:


You may receive this error when converting the database from an older version of EasyWorship into a newer version, or when doing a database transfer.



Resolution:


Follow these steps to resolve the issue:


  1. Close EasyWorship.
  2. Open File Explorer.
  3. In the address bar at the top, type in %appdata% and press Enter. 
  4. Browse to Softouch\Easyworship.v7\Settings.
  5. Rename the file named WindowSettings.ini to WindowSettings1.ini.
  6. Re-open EasyWorship.
  7. If the error still occurs, close EasyWorship.
  8. Then follow the same above instructions to get back to the same Settings folder and rename the History.ini file to History1.ini. 
  9. Re-open EasyWorship.
  10. If the error still occurs, open File Explorer.
  11. In the address bar at the top, type in %programdata% and press Enter.
  12. Browse to Softouch\EasyWorship.v7.
  13. Rename the Profiles folder to Profiles1.
  14. Finally, re-open EasyWorship and see if these steps resolved your issue.
