Error Executing SQL "DELETE FROM Songkeys.word..." Database Disk Image Is Malformed

Error Description:


Editing a song caused the following error, "Error Executing SQL "DELETE FROM Songkeys.word..." database disk image is malformed. This error usually means the SongKeys file in the EasyWorship database folder has become corrupted and we will need to replace this SongKeys file to resolve the issue.



Resolution:


Follow these steps below to resolve the issue: 


  1. Open EasyWorship, and at the top, click on Profiles, and then click Profiles Manager.
  2. In the center of the Profile Editor window, click the link next to Instance Location, where it has the name of your profile highlighted blue and underlined. (It will most likely be called Default.)
  3. This will open a File Explorer window. Move this window off to the side.
  4. In the Profile Editor Window, click the New button at the bottom.
  5. Click the OK button at the bottom to create a new profile.
  6. Click the Switch To button at the bottom to open the New Profile.
  7. On the Add/Remove Demo Data, click Cancel. 
  8. At the top, click on Profiles, and then click Profiles Manager.
  9. In the center of the Profile Editor window, click the link next to Instance Location, where it has the New Profile name highlighted blue and underlined.
  10. This will open a File Explorer window.
  11. Open the v6.1 folder, and then open the Databases folder, and then the Data folder.
  12. Right-click on the SongKeys.db file and click on Copy.
  13. Close this window.
  14. Close out of EasyWorship.
  15. In the other File Explorer window, open the v6.1 folder, and then open the Databases folder, and then the Data folder.
  16. Right-click in this window and click on Paste.
  17. In the pop-up menu, click on Replace the file in the destination.
  18. Close out of this window and re-open EasyWorship.
  19. At the top, click on Profiles, and in the drop-down choose your main profile.
  20. Now you should be able to edit songs without receiving the error.
