High Memory Usage When Displaying PowerPoints

Issue

There is a known issue with the video card drivers for AMD/ATI Radeon video cards that cause high memory usage when going live to a PowerPoint in EasyWorship when all four margins are set within the program.

The AMD/ATI drivers are causing this problem by injecting into EasyWorship.

The AMD/ATI video card drivers causing the issue are: atiumdva.dll and atiumdva.cap.

Solution

To fix this issue, you need to rename those two driver files. They are located in the path: C:\Windows\SysWOW64.

Follow these steps to resolve the issue:

  1. Open File Explorer window by holding down the Windows Logo key on the bottom left of your keyboard and then press the E key.
  2. Click on This PC or Computer, and then open Local Disk C:.
  3. Open the Windows folder, and then the SysWOW64 folder.
  4. The two files you need to rename are: atiumdva.dll and atiumdva.cap. Rename them to atiumdva1.dll and atiumdva1.cap.

After renaming these files, re-open EasyWorship and go live to your PowerPoint file. If your margins are set, then you will no longer have the memory leak issue.

If this does not resolve your issue, please contact EasyWorship Support.
