Displays on Mac
Make sure EW is closed before you do this before the steps below.
Step 1: Connect Your External Display
Plug your external monitor into your Mac using the appropriate cable (HDMI, Thunderbolt, USB-C, or DisplayPort).
Note: If your Mac only has USB-C ports and your monitor uses HDMI, you will need a USB-C to HDMI adapter or hub.
Step 2: Configure the Display Settings
Once the monitor is plugged in and turned on, your Mac will usually detect it automatically. To ensure it is set to Extend rather than Mirror, follow these steps:
Click the Apple menu () in the top-left corner of your screen.
Select System Settings (or System Preferences on older macOS versions).
Scroll down the sidebar and click on Displays.
Step 3: Arrange Your Screens
This is the most important step to make sure your mouse moves naturally from one screen to the other.
In the Displays settings layout window, you will see blue boxes representing your monitors.
Click and drag the monitors to match their physical setup on your desk (e.g., if your monitor is to the left of your MacBook, drag its box to the left).
To change which screen is the "Extended" display, click the monitor icon you want to configure and look for the "Use as" dropdown menu. Ensure it is set to Extended display (and not Main display or Mirror).
After you have all that set up correctly open EW and select Main Output and then under General select Output Monitor and make sure that it is set to secondary.

Has anyone figured out how to get the live input to show up on the extended display? If so, can you help me out?
