[Equipment Configurations] The Computer We use for Support

In case you might be thinking, "What do they use at EasyWorship to do tech support?" here goes.

We did a PC refresh a few years ago and upgraded from Intel Core2Duo 3.0 Ghz computers to i5 3.2 Ghz computers.

Here are the detail specs.

Windows 10 Pro 64 bit

Intel Core i5-4460 (Gen 4) Quad Core 3.2 Ghz

8 GB 1333 DDR3 RAM

NVIDIA GTX 750 or 1050 (Some of us upgraded recently) I used to use the 740, with three monitors, so the 1050 is a big step up in performance and it gives about a 20% increase in performance over the 750 when running EW.

256 GB SSD (Samsung or Crucial)

Here are the exact parts we purchased from newegg.com.

ASRock H97M Anniversary LGA 1150 Intel H97 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard

Intel Core i5-4460 Haswell Quad-Core 3.2 GHz LGA 1150 BX80646I54460

G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL9D-8GBRL

GIGABYTE GV-N750OC-1GI G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 750 1GB 128-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 Video Card

LG Internal 24x Super Multi with M-DISC Support SATA Model GH24NSC0B

IN WIN Z583.CH350TB Black / Silver Steel MicroATX Mini Tower Computer Case 350W Power Supply

Rosewill ARC Series 550W Modular Gaming Power Supply, 80 PLUS Bronze Certified, Single +12V Rail, Intel 4th Gen CPU Ready, SLI & CrossFire Ready - ARC-M550

Crucial MX100 2.5" 256GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) CT256MX100SSD1

At the time we spent $715 per machine in parts and OS in December of 2014.

These machines at this time still have no problem keeping up with EasyWorship. I do recommend the upgrade to the 1050 video card.

As you can see, you don't have to spend a fortune on a computer that meets required specs for EasyWorship.
