Will the alternate output allow us to send alpha channel over NDI?
What we really want to accomplish with this is have one output that goes to our projection system and a different output that goes to NDI with just the lyrics to be used in our live stream setup. I believe this would be a common use case for the alternate display.
Yes, all outputs from EW (main, alternate, and foldback) will be able to send through NDI.
This alternate screen option is very useful. I use it to send the lyrics as subtitles through NDI to another computer that uses vMix for live streaming. My problem is, when I want to put the Logo (that is a picture) on the main screens in the church, the Logo covers my entire live stream as is sent to alternative output as well. As a temporary fix, i use the Logo as desktop background, and after the song, i simply stop transmitting live from Easyworship, and so on the screens remains only the desktop background that is the Logo. But...is there a way that we can put the Logo/Clear/Black only on Main output? Tanks ;)
Nice the alternative output.
The default font style is nicely taken over from the alternative theme.
What I am unable to do is to get part of the text whose formatting has been changed (not default style) also with the changed formatting in the alternative output.
Is this already possible? (we use this to show the translation of the songs.)
Is it possible to specify a different alternative theme for each song? or can only the default alt song theme be set.
The function of the arrow keys is reversed in the beta (7.3.0.9) from what is stated in the help.
Has this been deliberately changed compared to, for example, version 6? Where is the up/down key to change the slide.
Can I change the shutcut keys back myself?
I installed the latest beta version and have since uninstalled the beta version. After I uninstalled the beta version, I can no longer double click on the saved schedules and launch Easyworship and open saved schedule. I can however open Easyworship and navigate to the saved schedules to open a particular file. It seems the file associate was lost when the beta was uninstalled. How can I fix this problem and is the problem a common issue?
Vez, we will have to do some testing on the formatting of the text.
Currently, you can set one default Alt out theme. There is not a way to set one for each song in the schedule. You will have to manually change the default when you want it to change. There will be a way in the future to be able to do this though.
The hotkey change was done on purpose. You can change it back if you want by editing the Hotkeys.ini file.
There are some instructions in this article that show you how to edit that file.
Williboxcar, I would just do a repair install of EW to see if that restores it. Or go into Windows settings and restore the association to the file name extension to the version of EW installed.
Go to Settings - Apps - Default Apps - Choose default apps by file type, scroll down to .ewsx, and select Easyworship 7 as your default app to open it.

We do have this in our request list.
Thanks. Also, it would be really useful to be able to edit the song live. Sometimes I find little spelling mistakes, or the group \ person singing a slightly different version of the song, and for one or two words, or even some letters, I need to go to edit, and find the slide, than find the part where I need to make the change, than save and then search again on the preview for the slide that the singer reached and then pres Go Live (or double click). And if during the edit I need to change the slide, I can only do it through the app on the phone. I apologize if this was already addressed, but i couldn't find something about this. Thanks again!
Hi!
If you click on HELP//ABOUT EW let me know which build you are currently on.
Williboxcar If you reinstall the EasyWorship update for 7.2.3.0, the issue should be resolved. Try reinstalling that update from https://ewsoftware.blob.core.windows.net/installers/EasyWorship-7.2.3.0.exe
I am no longer able to present powerpoint slides with 7.3.0.10 beta. This works fine in 7.2. All that shows is a black screen on the Live View. I see the thumbnails and can advance back/forth between them but the live review remains blank until I move to another set, such as an image or video.

If you do have a one-time purchase license and would like to play with/test the features, you can install the beta. You will just need to sign out of your account in the beta and run it as a demo to see the new features.
