[v6 General Discussion] Live Video Feed

I am a newer user of EasyWorship and am learning tons.
One of the things our Pastoral staff would like to do is to have a camera on the baptism tank and project that on the house screen while having lyrics projected on the screens as well. Can we do this with EasyWorship? If so what would be the steps (and equipment) I would need to make this happen?

Thanks

Yes, that can be done. Depending on the camera type will determine the equipment.

Will you be using a professional or consumer level camera?

For the best quality, you probably want something HD 1920x1080, HDMI output will be the cheapest but will need to be converted to SDI for long runs.

www.blackmagicdesign.com sells lots of equipment for HDMI or SDI capture, either through a PCI slot, USB 3.0 slot, or thunderbolt port. This is good place to look around.

All of these solutions have been more or less tested with EasyWorship 6.

Tell me a little bit more about the type of camera you want to use, how much you want to spend, and I can provide you a solution.
We currently have a consumer level camera with and HDMI output. This video camera is plugged into a Hauppauge HD PVR High Definition Video Recorder. We use this to record services and place them on Youtube.
As for the cost, less is always better, but we want a good quality image so it doesnt look cheap. If we can do something with what we currently have that would be even better. The budget would probably be between $100 and $200, but if there are not any good options within this price range, i can probably talk them into a higher budget, but we wouldnt be able to act on it right away.

Let me know
Thanks
