[v6 General Discussion] Foldback Output view issue

We have a wide screen projector for our foldback display on the rear wall. Because of how we use this projector at other times, we use the foldback output monitor custom position dimensions to restrict the display to a portion of the projector's capability.

ThIs worked well in EW2009. In EW6 (running 1.8 release), the custom position values changed dramatically, but the feature still works as desired. However, the Foldback Output view in the main program window is now useless for us. Our projected output is shifted down and to the right so much so that it is >90% out of the window. Our projectionist cannot see the rear wall and relies on the program view to know what is up there.

In Options, Foldback, our custom dimensions are left 2304, top 88, width 1280, height 800 (Output to monitor 3). Margins are left 100 top 100 right 0 bottom 100. The little preview window on the Options dialog doesn't work right either when trying to adjust the margins, but it comes out okay on the wall.

We are also having minor formatting issues with foldback output (font is too large so output runs off the edge of our display) , but that could be learning curve with the new theme tools.

We dearly wish to see the main EW window view of the foldback output fixed if the fix isn't already in progress. Thanks!

Resetting the margins and setting the custom position will make the view in the live area work properly.
Are you using the margins or custom position settings to adjust the foldback screen?
It seems to work better if you use the custom position instead of the margins.

I don't think it was a conscious decision to choose one or the other. It's just what worked. Should I set all the margins to zero and then re-adjust the position?
